Invitation: Nature laws that work: fighting to protect the environment

P1260089_edited-2You are invited to join WEPA at our General Meeting this coming Tuesday 17 July for a talk by Suzanne Milthorpe, the National Nature Campaign Manager at the Wilderness Society.

Suzanne works on a range of nature campaigns to protect the places we all love. Her expertise is in national environmental policy, focussing on ecosystem function, sustainable agriculture and development, and oceans conservation.

Suzanne will give us a snapshot of Australia’s biggest – and quietest – environmental fight and explain why our nature laws desperately need a change.

We hope you can join us for this important topic and discussion. All are welcome, there is no charge and supper is provided.

When: Tuesday 17 July 2018 at 7:00 pm
Where: Glenaeon School Hall, 121 Edinburgh Rd, Castlecrag.

For more information call Christina Pender on: 9438 4073.
